Penelope Doran College Fund

Our friend, Mike Doran, left us unexpectedly on December 27, 2020, leaving behind his only daughter, Penelope, age 7. This fund will help support Penelope's future, including a start for her college education. Penelope is a sweet and smart child who loved spending time with her father.

There aren't many people who have known Mike longer than I have - Mike was a great friend, not just to just to his friends from high school, but his whole neighborhood of friends on Mellissa Court who were practically family. Mike would pretty much do anything to get a laugh, from imitations of people, to falling down stairs on purpose, or just asking you a ridiculous question. Mike fell ill with addiction - a battle he fought for many years.  There were many successes during this battle, and challenges that would creep in. Mike's family and wife Jenn were with him each step of the way.

In his final week of life on earth, Mike spent the holidays with his family and one last night with his daughter on December 26th. Thank you for taking the time to read this and honoring Mike's memory through the support of Penelope.
