Penelope’s roux-en-y jejunostomy surgery

Hi my name is Kayla, my sweet Penelope is long over due for this procedure. Surgery is scheduled for oct 19th out at primary children’s hospital is Salt Lake City. This surgery is going to be so beneficial for her, it will save her from monthly trips to the ER, where she gets sedated, radiation, and of course medical trauma just to surgically place the GJ feeding tube. This surgery will allow me to change her feeding port in the comfort of our own home. Some cost of the surgery is covered under insurance. I am a single mom of three kids with a full time careerI’m not sure how long Penelope will need to recover, and in that time i won’t be able to work.

these donations will help with traveling costs to primary children’s hospital in Utah for the surgery, hospital bills an also to help stay afloat and not fall behind. So I can stay with my sweetest P while she recovers. I do not like having to even ask for help. But anything helps. My family and I appreciate everyone who had followed Pennys story for the last four years. Her two older siblings and I have been blessed with her in our lives. She’s been through so much but she’s a tough and doesn’t let any of it hold her back.
