Casey's colleagues and friends are raising money to help her and the Penland family in their time of need. The Penland family lost their daughter in a tragic accident and will require an extended absence from work. Casey is remarkable and has passionately served the Greenville County community for over a decade in multiple capacities. She has helped Individuals and Families heal in the hospital, specialty and indigent clinics. She has helped her colleagues and given back to her profession teaching at colleges and providing hands-on training for student and resident learners. She was a frontline healthcare worker during the Covid pandemic providing care and support. She has been the solution for an uncountable number of people when they felt they were at a roadblock. It is time for the community to come together and support Casey. Donations will be used to replace lost wages required to maintain their household while the family is on leave from work.
