Pennies for Payson

As most of you know our sweet, late premie Payson, decided she wanted to join us for her baby sprinkle after party. With zero signs of distress during labor, her entrance into the world was anything but a birthday party. Watching your freshly born baby receive CPR in her first moments of life has left us with nightmares. Watching her get whisked away onto a helicopter was surreal.

With one step forward, she’s has made one step back. We could be here in the hospital for one week or one month. She’s calling all the shots right now. Her little lungs just need time to strengthen.

We could be spending our short amount of leave time together all in the hospital and not bonding comfortably at home.

Mommy and daddy want to spend every moment with her but sister Parker still needs us and the location of the hospital is less then convenient.

We have created this Go Fund Me for those of you who have reached out and have asked how to help support our family. We plan on using donations for gas, meals, and further unexpected medical bills.

As a nurse and police officer, but most importantly parents, we have seen and delt with a lot of trauma but you can never mentally prepare yourself for the worst happening to your tiny family.
