Penny is a warrior fighting 2 battles

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Jacky. I'm writing to you today to ask for your help in supporting my friend, Penny who has been diagnosed with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS).
My friend Penny is 60-year-old and has been struggling with MS for many years. In the last year her condition has worsened significantly.
Penny needs to have in home nursing care.
She has surgically implanted tubes in her stomach because her body is failing. When her in home nurses change the tubes it's very painful, I hate hearing her cry.
She uses a cane to walk,
And a wheelchair when she gets to weak or tired.
She experiences a number of other debilitating symptoms.
She only weighs about 90 lbs now.
And says it's hard to eat because of medications, pain and stress.

Penny is also losing her hair.
Partially due to all the medications she has to take everyday and the infusions she has to undergo.

But the main reason I am writing this and asking for your help is because she has been in a toxic relationship with a emotionally absent and abusive spouse for nearly 6 years. She's been isolated with no friends and family around her. And suffers a great deal of depression, anxiety and other issues because of it.
As with most physically or emotionally abused women
there is an overall sense of fear, guilt and shame that prevented Penny from reaching out.

This relationship has taken a toll on her physical and emotional health.
However after suffering through recent events she is now finally strong enough mentally and is ready to move on.

The problem is that Penny has no savings and relies on disability payments to survive. She is in need of financial assistance to
move out of her current home quickly and safely. She is unable to do this on her own due to her physical limitations. She needs help packing her belongings, renting a moving truck, and hiring a driver. She also needs to board her cats during the move and pay for their veterinary care and food.

Penny is a proud Cat Mom to her two cats, Lilly May and Mikey.
Lilly May is a 9 -year-old cat that lived on the Streets. When Lilly May locked eyes with her one day she knew Penny would be her forever home.
Mikey is a 3 year-old cat who is her emotional support animal, But we are all fairly certain that she is actually his.

Penny loves her cats very much and they provide her with a great deal of comfort and companionship. Any donation that you can make will help to ensure that Penny is able to continue to care for her cats.

**How can you help?**

I am asking for your help in raising money to support Penny. Any amount that you can donate would be greatly appreciated.

**How else can you help?**

You can also help by sharing Penny's story with your friends and family. The more people who know about her situation, the more likely she is to receive the help that she needs.

Penny is a fighter. She has always been a fighter and I know she will continue to be one. She deserves a chance to live her life to the fullest.
Your donation will help her to start a new life, a life that won't be wasted.

Please help her by donating to her GoFundMe page.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Jacky
