Penny Rose needs an MRI

Tax deductible
It’s been a month since Penelope Rose joined our care, and what a journey it has been! This sweet girl has been receiving daily exercises to help strengthen her muscles, and with the incredible support from our volunteers, she’s now the owner of two walkers. While she’s mastering the art of moving backward, she still requires a little help to walk forward—an indication of her great determination!
Despite her progress, Penelope is still unable to sit up or stand on her own, which raises some concerns. We’re advocating for an MRI with the neurologist, as we want to rule out any potential degenerative neurological conditions related to her cerebellar hypoplasia. Unfortunately, these conditions can lead to varying levels of impairment over time, with some cats requiring supportive care for only a few months, while others may thrive for several years.
But one thing is for sure—Penelope Rose has captured our hearts! She’s a bundle of love, and when she’s cuddled, she can’t help but make biscuits, spreading joy wherever she goes. She adores being carried and loves to observe her foster siblings romping around, which shows and her face lights up with joy.
We are fully committed to doing everything possible to keep this precious girl comfortable and happy. Stay tuned for more updates on Penelope's progress—we're rooting for her every step of the way! ❤️
If you would like to help with her journey, we are in need of monetary donations for her MRI.
