Penny's Breast Cancer Battle

Hi, I'm Julia, a friend of Penny's and a fellow breast cancer survivor of the same type, Triple Negative. Penny is a long time close friend of my mother-in-laws and that is how I was lucky enough to meet this beautiful person. Penny first had this aggressive Breast Cancer 19 years ago while her children were young. It was caught early and she did need chemo, surgery, and radiation but the fight is harder and longer with a reoccurrence. Since the beginning of chemo, Penny has needed to be out of work and her battle is far from over.

Penny was one of the first to reach out to me when I was diagnosed, she arranged for help for me with my young children, gave me good advice, checked in often, and made sure I was keeping my chin up. When my father-in-law was battling lung cancer she volunteered to put together an in person benefit supper for him. This is just the kind of person Penny is. Selfless, kind, generous, loving, and humble. I would love to be able to provide some financial relief for her during this time as I know it was one of the biggest helps to me while I fought my own battle just this past 18 months.
