"People Eater" A short film

Hi there! I'm Trevor and I'm here on behalf of Second Hand Henry Films, a new start-up production company with a focus in amplifying diverse voice, sharing new ideas, and making movies unlike movies ever seen before. Essentially, it is our unabashed goal to make the movies we wanted to see growing up.

Our motto: "Let's try something newer."

We are raising funds to produce our first ever project: "PEOPLE EATER" -- a social satire with all the scares of a midnight movie and dreamlike horror inspired by the films of David Lynch. Here is a brief synopsis:

Two women take shelter in their basement while their city is destroyed by an unseen monster. When they accept two male survivors from the outside, they become prisoners of the men’s depiction of the new world. What transpires is a web of lies and destruction that leads the survivors to question who the real monsters are: the ones outside or the ones locked up next to them.

We are using this platform in order to raise extra funds to pay our well-deserving and talented cast and crew. A portion of this fund will also be allocated towards providing craft services during our shoot.

Our key challenge in producing this film is just that: this is our inaugural film as a team. It is our duty to ourselves that this is a satisfying and meaningful film to work on. It is our absolute priority to assure a positive work environment for our cast and crew, conducive to artistic fulfillment and safety despite our modest budget. It’s our duty to you, our audience, to provide you with exceptional material that’s entertaining, engaging, and above all -- challenging. We promise we won’t let you down -- but we’ll need a hand in achieving two dreams: the first, making this movie. The second: giving it to you.
