PEOPLES FOOD PROGRAM: HOUSTON TEXAS

We’ve all been seeing and hearing about the devastation going on in Texas right now because of weather, lack of power, and lack of resources. Houston Texas is the fourth largest city in the country. Thousands have been blocked in by snow and freezing temperatures that have resulted in power outages and no access to safe water. Those living in the 3rd Ward and the 5th Ward are the most vulnerable and facing the most hardship. Not on our watch! Over the last week we have been communicating with local activists to determine where our help is most needed. They have been feeding the people and delivering water out to the community but they need more resources and volunteers! This GoFundMe will help provide the Houston community with some of the resources they’re in dire need of. Give $1 or $100, every bit helps. 


In addition, other NYC activists have been volunteering to take the trip to Texas. We are all leaving Monday, February 23rd. We take care of us.
