On Tuesday, April 16th, our dear friend Rachael suffered a severe car accident on her way home from work. Found pinned under her truck hours later, she was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Rachael is currently in a medically induced coma to ensure stability before undergoing multiple surgeries for her injuries, which include:
-A broken pelvis in multiple places
-A fractured C6 vertebrae in her neck
-A large head laceration
-A broken nose
The road to recovery will be long and difficult. Rachael faces months of recovery, potential long-term issues with walking, and extensive physical therapy. As a vibrant member of our community, Rachael brings joy through her beautiful art and clothing creations. She's an adventurer who loves to explore and embrace life. Before the accident, Rachael worked two jobs to make ends meet. Now, with her ability to work halted, she needs our support.
