Peppa (Badabucci) needs your help

I fell smitten with Peppa, then Badabucci, the moment I met her at BARCS. Everyone does. So, it was a no brainer when Adopt a Homeless Animal rescue (AAHA), responding to her third rescue plea, asked me to consider fostering. Okay.
Peppa has been a dream and is a complete love. She is happy go lucky and loves people, other dogs and her stuffed animals. Nothing seems to get this happy girl down. Yet, she struggles with her balance. Mostly, she’s wobbly but any include or decline including steps can send her tumbling. When she is happy and excited she will crash into things, she simply can’t control her limbs the way other doggies do. We were all very hopeful that the issue was related to an ear infection and a long course of heavy antibiotics would do the trick, but that has not been the case. More than six weeks of antibiotics and ear flushes later, and sweet Peppa has shown no improvement in her balance or facial paralysis.
We want to do all we can for Peppa so that she can continue to live a happy go lucky life and mostly so that she doesn’t hurt herself in a fall or playful crash. In order to determine next steps and treatment, if any, we need to see a neurologist and get an MRI. That alone is estimated at $2800 and we have no idea what the prognosis and treatment entail. These are big numbers for any one, but particularly a rescue with several dogs in their care. This is where you come in, if we all pull together and give just little bit, we can make this a nominal expense for the rescue and a life changer for Peppa. Please consider donating a couple bucks for Peppa.
Thank you so very much. ~ LeSales and Peppa
