The Pepys Social Supermarket is based at the 2000 Community Action Centre and provides local, low income,  families and individuals with £25 of shopping for £3.50 a week. 

The Social Supermarket currently feeds up to 100 local households a week, but is seeing a huge rise in demand due to the COVID19 crisis. 

Pepys social supermarket works with Lewisham Homes, Travis Perkins and London Catalyst and currently picks up food from Fareshare, who are a national charity that re-purposes surplus food from supermarkets. 

Extra funds are needed for the supermarket to ensure that vital food stuffs, such as tinned food and non perishable items, can be bought in bulk for local families in this time of crisis and also to ensure as many local families can be assisted as possible in extremely difficult times.
