Pereda Galindo Girl’s Fund

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we ask for your prayers and support for Roel and his 4 young girls, Lesly, Anay, Jarilys and Amy as they mourn the loss of their beloved wife and mother Marisela Pereda.

In December Marisela walked into the hospital with an infection and it became a serious infection that landed her in the ICU for two and a half months. Throughout this time she was very optimistic and fought valiantly to return home to her husband and girls. Not a day passed where she did not ask about her precious girls. They were her pride and joy. Roel spent everyday by her side only leaving when she insisted the girls needed him. If love alone could have kept her with us she would still be here. She fought until the end and went to be with our Heavenly Father leaving us with a huge void.

Mari was alway looking for ways to help others and many people have reached out asking how the can help support the family in this difficult time. We set up this fund to do exactly that. Please know that every dollar raised will directly support the girls education, health and wellness. The girls and my brother will continue to be surrounded by the love of family and friends. We hope this fund will be a lasting tribute to a loving mother, wife, daughter, aunt, wonderful sister, great sister-in-law, and friend.

The extended Pereda and Galindo Family

Con un gran peso en el corazón pedimos sus oraciones y apoyo para Roel y sus 4 niñas, Lesly, Anay, Jarilys y Amy mientras lloran la pérdida de su amada esposa y madre Marisela Pereda.

En diciembre Marisela entró en el hospital con una infección y se convirtió en una infección grave que la llevó a cuidados intensivos durante dos meses y medio. A lo largo de este tiempo fue muy optimista y luchó valientemente para regresar a casa con su marido y sus hijas. No pasó un día en el que no preguntó por sus preciosas chicas. Eran su orgullo y alegría. Roel pasaba todos los días a su lado solo yendo cuando ella insistía en que las chicas lo necesitaban. Si solo el amor pudiera haberla mantenido con nosotros, todavía estaría aquí. Ella luchó hasta el final y fue a estar con nuestro Padre Celestial dejándonos con un enorme vacío.

Mari siempre estaba buscando formas de ayudar a los demás y muchas personas se han puesto en contacto preguntando cómo pueden ayudar a la familia en este momento tan difícil. Establecimos este fondo para hacer exactamente eso. Tenga en cuenta que cada dólar recaudado apoyará directamente la educación, la salud y el bienestar de las niñas. Las chicas y mi hermano seguirán rodeados del amor de la familia y los amigos. Esperamos que este fondo sea un tributo duradero a una madre dulce y amorosa, esposa fiel, maravillosa hija, tía, hermana, cuñada y amiga.
