Peri Rasko

I am organizing a fundraiser to help a good friend. Peri has been a nurse for over 30 years and is a friend, sister, and second mother to many. She was my nursing preceptor and was a mentor to me and many of my friends in nursing. Unfortunately, some time ago Peri was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized. She is a single mother and has fought the battle with her young daughter by her side. Her daughter Marielle is in college and doing her best to help her mother. Peri has been unable to work due to her illness. She can't afford to let her insurance lapse because she can't afford to have any lapse in treatment. She is too young for Medicare and running out of options. A story we hear far too often. So, after caring for people for over three decades she is in need of some help herself. We spoke at length the other day and she gave me permission to reach out to everyone and ask for donations. Anything will be appreciated. Peri, her daughter, and I would like to thank you in advance .
