Period poverty - Fiji

Hi my name is Alex and I play at the hockey club. Earlier this year my partner Jess and I volunteered in Fiji for two months at a domestic violence shelter.

Through this experience we were exposed to high levels of period poverty and consequently women suffering from poor overall health and well-being due to their lack of access.

We are hoping to provide the 95 women of this community with sustainable and reusable period products and underwear.
