Missions Trip to Gressier, Haiti

Hello family and friends!

I hope you are well.  Many of you may or may not know, but Lindsey and I live outside of Philadelphia and are blessed to be a member of Hope Community Church  in King of Prussia where we are involved in various ministries.  I was recently asked to fill in for a last minute opening in a team going to Haiti at the end of this week!  This is a sudden request, but Lindsey and I both have often seen God work significantly in our lives through these opportunities, even more exciting this will be my first international mission trip.

Our group of 15 will be traveling to Gressier on the coast near Port au Prince.  We are traveling with and being assisted by Praying Pelican Missions who have already built a relationship with the church in Haiti which we will be serving and know the culture and language. The church we will be working with Eglise de Dieu de la Sanctification and it has about 100+ members.  The pastor has a heart for community development and desires to develop the human resources of his church to reach out into the community.  We will be assisting him in doing this by sharing God’s love and hope through doing home visits, leading Bible studies, working with youth, and may also be planting trees!

I am looking forward to the opportunity to see how God transforms a communitythrough His church and am happy to be sharing this experience with you all.  If you are able to support this trip through prayer please pray for:

  ·  That we would discover more of God through our
      experiences with each other and those we serve.
