Perry Hall House Fire

We are raising money for my parents, who lost everything in a house fire on 3/14/22. They have lived in their home for 27 years. It is the house my brother, and I grew up in. This house will eventually be rebuilt, but the sentimental tokens, pictures, keepsakes are lost. Thank God that no one was hurt or life lost. We are grateful for that. It was heartbreaking watching this house burn, the hard work put into it, and the treasues lost in what the firefighters said was one of the fastest fires they've seen. Fifteen minutes and all was a total loss.

My mom was at work; my dad had just returned from a job only to leave pick up my kids only to get less than a half-mile up the road to a call saying the house is on fire. We tried to battle it as we waited for the fire company, but it was much greater than any of us. The outside of the home was beautiful, but the inside was even more stunning. My Dad is a custom cabinet maker and restored and built the entire inside room by room to his masterworks. Twenty-seven years to complete the house, literally up in smoke. Yet, we are finding grace in it and marching forward as we do. This experience is humbling and heartwarming as the abundance of people who have offered to help and asked what they can do or an account they can donate. For this reason, We set up this account. They are buying basic necessities to get them thru this week and will be buying what they need as they are without everything other than what was on their back at the very moment. I'm sure they will need to purchase what they need to get them through these next 12 months.
