Serving Appalachia with Stowe and Jacqui

We have spent the last 3 months living in Richmond attending a Discipleship Training School (DTS) to growing closer to God, learning how to serve Him and our neighbors, and how to fulfill the the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) during what is called the Lecture Phase. The second part of our DTS is the Outreach portion and it starts April 2nd! We will be hiking the Appalachian Trail, 2,186 miles over 6 months, to share God's love, to serve the hikers we meet along the way, and to serve local communities and churches. Appalachia is the poorest area in America and we are excited to have the opportunty to get to know the people there and to serve them in whatever way needed.
