Jake and Kristen's Adoption Fund

Jake and Kristen Perschon have been pursuing fertility help and treatments for 6 years. Neither Kristen or Jake have had any health issues, so it was a surprise when they were not able to get pregnant after they began trying. They are a loving married couple who enjoy spending time together and sharing their interests with each other. As both Kristen and Jake have gone through this journey of infertility and starting their family together, they have learned a lot about each other, about God’s love and the importance of pursuing all options available to them.

The dreams Kristen had growing up of one day having children from races and cultures other than her own seemed to be just random thoughts that she would mention here or there. Coming from a large family of 8 children, Kristen knew that one day she would have children of her own who she would love with all of her heart- no matter how they came to her. Even though she had those spiritual promptings at a young age, along with a deep fear that she would have a hard time bearing children, she never took much thought to it until recently as God has confirmed in both Jake & Kristen’s hearts that now is the time for them to pursue adoption. They have learned that it is important to travel down paths where God leads us, even if it results in 4 failed IVF procedures, because He always has something to teach us.

The Perschons know that they still have a long road ahead of them to grow their family, but are trying to educate themselves as much as they can and follow the promptings that God gives to find the child that belongs to their family.
