Help Ari's Parents Rebuild After Palisades Wildfire

Dear friends and family,

My name is Mya Elliot -I'm writing on behalf of my dear friend Ariana and their parents, Ray and Stephanie Peschke, as they navigate a truly heartbreaking and nightmarish loss. On January 8th, the Peschke's home of 30 years - the home Ari was raised in - was completely destroyed in the Palisades wildfire along with all their belongings. A lifetime's worth of dedicated hard work, loving care, and security was lost, and now the family is facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over amidst an unrecognizable landscape of grief and uncertainty. To make matters worse, on January 1st, Stephanie & Ray (along with many other Californians) found the fire insurance in their home insurance plan unexpectedly dropped, despite paying home insurance consistently for years.

We are raising $50,000 to help Ari’s parents cover immediate and future expenses, including temporary housing, essential items, and the costs of rebuilding their lives.
