Help fund the production of Pest Control Magazine
To friends, family, accomplices, and creative onlookers: Pest Control Magazine is an up and coming online and print publication based in Chicago, IL that features literary and visual storytelling. Pest Control seeks to support communities of artists and writers, embrace storytelling’s transformative potential, and relinquish forms of hierarchy and suppression in all levels of the editorial process.
Thanks to yours and many others’ ongoing support, we successfully released our very first issue this past December! Within that process, we have learned how much discipline, time, and dedication it takes to put together such a unique body of work. We've been so humbled to witness the sheer kindness and support of our audiences, and we are so excited to continue publishing the work of emerging artists and writers. It's our hope that every issue of Pest Control Magazine will exist as an artifact for not just our talented contributors, but of a moment in time.
We thank you, our donors, for making it possible for us to print, showcase, and deliver Issue 1 and Issue 1 merchandise to our readers and friends. But we still need your support. As a staff of eight students and recent college graduates struggling (like everyone!) to navigate the COVID-19 landscape, we are seeking outside financial assistance. Your donation would assist in making our future goals possible.
Creating an accessible space for people to uplift and listen to one another is one of Pest Control’s many objectives. We hope that Pest Control Magazine will bring together creative communities of all kinds, and in doing so, uplift the voices of the people within them. It's our goal that Pest Control will serve as an avenue for people to debrief, debate, embrace, subvert, and make beauty out of the challenges of this era. We want to be a reminder that there is good in the world—that we must consistently come together and create with each other to see the light.

We also want to be mindful of the many individuals and organizations who are using this platform to raise money for basic needs.
