Petar Mladenovic

Our beloved Petar Mladenović, age 99, of Chicago, Illinois, and Belgrade, Serbia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, October 27, 2022, in Los Angeles. A prominent artist, calligrapher, and educator in his native country, Mladenović continued to paint until shortly before his death.

So many friends and family members have asked how to help us during this difficult time. We are all devastated by Petar's loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Petar the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

We would like to raise money in order to be able to afford the funeral service/costs for transportation back to Serbia where he will be laid to rest next to his wife.
