Celebrate the Life of Pete Avery
Donation protected
To celebrate the life of Pete Avery, we are collecting donations for two wonderful charities: Pilgrims Hospices, Kent's biggest provider of support and care to people with incurable illness; and Art Refuge, who help transform the lives of people displaced due to war, poverty and climate emergency through art and art therapy.
Dad was a supporter of Pilgrims in recent years, and as a passionate painter, would, we know, understand the value and importance of an organisation like Art Refuge.
We would be enormously grateful for any contributions, big or small.
Pilgrims Hospices
Pilgrims is East Kent's largest hospice charity. They are dedicated to helping people with incurable illness to live well in every moment. Through voluntary donations, they are able to provide care and support for patients and their families, both in the community and in their in-patient unit.
Art Refuge
Art Refuge uses art and art therapy to support the mental health and well-being of people displaced due to conflict, persecution, poverty and climate emergency, in the UK and internationally.
Their ongoing programmes take place in the UK and France, and they also deliver tailor-made arts-based training, crisis support and skills-sharing workshops in the UK, Europe, internationally and online.
