We are raising money to facilitate the burial and memorial of our beloved brother Peter Ajang Awai Ajang. Our brother Peter Ajang succumbed to his illness on Friday morning, January 31, 2020, in the State of Iowa, United States.
Peter leaves behind his young family, wife and 4 children; our brother Peter Ajang was a pillar in our family, a bastion, easy going, and a guiding force for good, a proud South Sudanese, with so much of promised usefulness to one's community and country, and of bright hopes for one's self and friends, have been so prematurely and suddenly dashed from us.
Those who knew him would agree that the untimely loss of our noble brother leaves a big gapping hole in our hearts. Peter Ajang provided people everywhere with space for dialogue, a friend to everyone, and anybody who has ever met him. He was a mainstay our family and community turn to for counsel and wisdom. His legacy will remain a true inspiration for all of us. He was a leader who shared his strength and believes with all who knew him.
It was our brother's wish to be buried in his home country of South Sudan. For this reason, we are requesting those who knew him to make this wish come true. The funds, your donations will be use to facilitate transportation of his body from the state of Iowa, United States to Jonglei State, South Sudan, all the way to his village, where he will be laid to rest, as he had wanted.
