Peter Glint Recovery Fund

Hello! As many of you know our dear friend Peter has been on a journey of a lifetime over the last few months. He was hospitalized in October and when we first visited, I was brought to tears. Our concern was that he would not make it another week as he struggled to move, sit up, & make sense of his situation. He has worked hard over these past months as you may have seen doing physical and cognitive rehab to get back to the Peter we all know and love. Now, we are at the point where he will be discharged from Kindred Hospital where he has had wonderful care. Although we are thrilled, we are also aware that the work is not done and we are not in the clear. The hospital has tried to find a facility that will assist Peter (Nursing Home/Assisted Living) however with his wounds and physical limitations there is nothing available at this time. So, we are now working on an in-home care program where a nurse will come by 7 days a week for 4-6 hours for rehab and other needs that will assist in Peter's recovery. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover everything and it is quite expensive. Anything that you can donate will provide him with assistance and if you are unable please reach out to him directly as a positive attitude that is filled with well-wishes is equally important.
