Peter was an accomplished Chartered Civil Engineer who loved life, his career and most of all his family. He spent the majority of his life developing large civil engineering projects in the Middle East, Caribbean and Africa. One of Pete's first projects was Cockfoster's Water Tower near London, as well as many other larger developments, which included townships and drinking water projects in Africa. Peter fell in love with the island of St. Lucia where he originally went to manage the construction of a large hotel and where he would visit often with his family, and enjoy the beaches and sunsets. He believed in helping others, equality and diversity, and was a strong advocate of doing the right thing.
Peter passed away on March 16, 2019 at the age of 75 after a long battle with several illnesses. He loved his family more than anything and felt it was very important to spend time with them as well as very close friends that he had gained though his travels and construction projects. Peter will be missed everyday but never forgotten.
We are hoping that everyone out there who knew Pete or even those who did not, can help honor his memory by creating a scholarship fund that could help those who have financial hardships, pursue a college education in engineering. We would like to help future college students realize their dreams of becoming an engineer, just as Peter did, in any way possible, whether that is through small book scholarships or eventually through larger full scholarships.
We hope that this is a great way to honor his memory and have a positive impact on someone else's life for many years to come.
