Peter Lamar Chatman 1948 - 2024

This GoFundMe was created by Peter’s CTC/Nu stage Acting Class and family to help unburden funeral costs. Some of you may know that Peter’s health declined over the years and as he fought hard to overcome a lot stemming from disabilities in the form of early-onset Parkinson’s disease, in the end, he concluded his fight on 3/28/24 accompanied by his family and loved ones by his bedside. Peter didn’t have insurance and we’re asking for your help now. If you knew Peter he’d probably curse us out real politely right about now, as we write to rally in donations however, we believe he deserves to be sent off the way he lived, with pride and dignity. Peter was an amazing man, a Dad and Grandad, a friend and companion, and the ultimate artist - spanning everything from drawing, music, and writing! If you encountered him he was simply a walking inspiration. His life inspired adults and droves of young artists to believe in themselves and chase their dreams. So in our final goodbye gesture, we would like to send him off like the incredible man he was, an icon, a man of faith, class personified, and a gentle touch of goodness. We ask that you remember our friend, mentor, and family’s life with any financial contribution you can give, all is counted and nothing is too small or large.
