Peter Stark Producing Program

Aloha āpau! My name is TX Tario, and I was recently accepted into the USCʻs prestigious MFA Peter Stark Producing Program as the first Native Hawaiian. Costs for my education are high, but with any kōkua (help/support) I can gain ʻike (knowledge) and experience working with the best in the entertainment industry including such names as Ed Saxton John Landau, Laura Ziskin, Nina Yang Bongiovi, etc.

My goal is to pave a new path for authentic moʻolelo by and from Hawaiʻi's next generation of storytellers. It is time for Hawaiʻi to not just be a backdrop for the industry, but to lead the industry in stylized cinematography, well-crafted writing and educated actors/performers.
