In loving memory of Peter Strong
Donation protected
Peter was an incredible, genuine soul and touched the lives of so many people. His goal was to live life to the fullest and he did exactly that. He taught me not just to go through life but to LIVE IT. There isn’t a moment that goes by that I don’t think about all the plans we had for the future and what an incredible man he was through and through. Peter loved fishing more than anything else except his family. He would fish at every opportunity. He was on the boat at least three times a week since its purchase in December 2021. We were only going out to buy Christmas lights and we ended up with our girl, The Pretty Maureen, named after his mother. Peter said, “You’ll never have to buy me anything for the next 10 years!” We spent so many fun-filled days on the water -- sunrises, rainbows, dolphins, sharks, monster fish, birthdays, tubing, and family visits. He called his St. Croix fishing rods his babies and I called the bait we caught “the babies.” His favorite thing was to “put people on fish.” That made him happier because they got to experience the feeling of catching a big fish. He was very selfless and often took friends and family fishing, always offering fishing trips to anyone and everyone he met. He was passionate about sharing his life with others and will be missed beyond words.
Instead of flowers, the family is requesting donations. All funds will be used to set up a Uniform Transfers to Minors Act (UTMA) for his daughter Chloe.
