Help Peter Tulloch battle cancer and drum again

Peter Tulloch is one of the finest musicians to come out of Liverpool in the last 40 years. He is the drummer in leading Led Zeppelin tribute band, Letz Zep, and as recently as March was touring Europe, performing relentless 2-hour sets every night to hundreds of people. He is a private, well-respected man who lets his drumming do the talking.

At the start of April, Peter was rushed to hospital, when a highly aggressive form of cancer was discovered in his bowel. In the 3 months since it has spread to his liver, and in the bone of his right shoulder, making him very unwell. Overnight he had to stop working, all of his income was cut off and is now having difficulty completing everyday tasks.

Peter is yet to see any cancer specialists in the hospital. He is unable to start any treatment until he meets this team. Whilst we wait for this appointment, we have been given no hope or reassurance from the hospital, or advice as to how we could manage the spread. When the time comes to meet the oncology team, and given his rapid deterioration, we anticipate that they will say he is untreatable. We are certain that this was not the case 3 months ago when he was first admitted.

This Go Fund Me will help to fund expensive alternative therapies and medications, as well as organic produce and equipment to help make Peter more comfortable whilst we fight back. We cannot wait any longer for something to happen, and we have seen and heard first-hand the success stories of others through such therapies and medications.

The worst thing we can do is nothing, and at this stage, this feels like our only hope of slowing, stagnating or stopping the spread of cancer, and making Peter’s day-to-day life more manageable. We have started alternative therapies, and the early signs are promising, but we do not have the funds to sustain it.

The Go Fund Me will also help to financially sustain Peter’s wife, Andrea, and daughter Holly, whilst they take time off work to care for him at home.

Any support that people can provide will be wholeheartedly appreciated. The £10,000 target is not a definitive figure, but it will cover the cost of 6 months of alternative therapies and medications.
