Peter's Campaign

My name is Kristina and I have created this page to share the story of my best friends; Andrea and
Peter.

Peter is a father of two beautiful daughters and does all he can to support his family. A little over 13 years ago Peter was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and has faced personal challenges in regards to this disease. This strong man never complains and remains positive for his wife Andrea and his two daughters.

Peter is now given an opportunity to access stem cell treatment  in the Unites States that has the potential to repair damage to his nervous system. This treatment can potentially reduce the symptons he is experiencing from Multiple Sclerosis and improve his quality of life. Data collected from the treatment indicate that 
70% of patients experienced "no relapses, no new MRI-detected inflammatory brain lesions, and no signs of progression... and 40% experienced reductions in disability". Peter will undergo the first treatment this July, and upon further consultation may need to undergo the process again.

The money raised will fund the $30,000 required to send Peter to the United States with his wife to undergo treatment and care for 5 days. One can only imagine the stress and pressure that this has brought to their family.

I am reaching out to friends, family members and loved ones to pay it foward. Andrea and Peter never ask for help and this page is created to bring some peace of mind, during a very stressful time. Their friends asked to have this page created as a way to support them throughout this journey.
