Remembering Peter Ortega

Peter, we celebrate your life!  We enjoyed years of your wit, charm and true passion. Your essence will resonate with us for ever!  Therefore, we are here to give back a little appreciation for the moments we shared. To allow your son to see how many lives you touched.  Our hope is to ease his burden, to allow him to pursue his own path.  Also, to allow many of us to tell you that we wished we had more time with you!
You loved life...you loved to laugh and boy did you like music, as it was apparent that any concert and/or performance was never off the table! You also enjoyed many sports...especially those that ended with "ball" or "league".
But most importantly,  you changed our lives. You showed us what it is to have strength and courage. To speak up when you believe in something, to defend what is right. To laugh, to enjoy a drink and that a good time is very important. You dedicated your life to your family, your craft, your work, your passions!  Due to you, many countless people have and will live better. You gave more than we could ever give you!
We honor your life, your work hard and play harder attitude.  We step back and take inventory of what's important in life, we realize the void we have now. And we will fill it with the great things you exemplified!  We love you, we miss you and you will live on within and around us for ever.  Shine on brother Peter!
