Peters family support fund

Staff Sergeant Dalen Peters is a Fort Bragg paratrooper currently serving at 2-508 parachute infantry regiment “2-Fury”. A little over a year ago his wife gave birth to their daughter Maeve who was born prematurely at 23 weeks. The Peters family has been dedicated to providing Maeve the care she needed to thrive for over a year, it has been a year of extreme hardship. They have fought to the point of exhaustion to take care of their child, including a multitude of trips to the ER at Duke medical center. Maeve was finally allowed to live at home under the care of a home nurse. Recently Maeve was diagnosed with RSV which led to Pneumonia. She was admitted yet again to Duke medical center where she was put on life support for weeks. On November 20th 2022, under the advice of multiple MDs and the Duke medical quality of life team, Maeve was taken off life support and peacefully passed away.

SSG Peters has served with me for the past 3 years including a deployment to Iraq. He is truly great man and far too humble to ask for help, so I am asking for him and his family. I want to raise enough funds to ease the financial burden of medical and funeral expenses so they can focus of grieving and being with family during this time. Thank you.
