Peterson Family Housing and Debt

Hello everyone.

We are starting a fundraiser for our family because we desperately need your help. In the summer of 2023 our family decided to move from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Pensacola, Florida. We knew we wanted to move out of Colorado, and we felt like god wanted us in Florida, so off to Florida we went. We packed up everything we had and drove our family 1,373 miles to Pensacola. We put a good chunk of our savings into our home in Colorado for home renovations in hopes that it would sell quicker. Once we got to Florida, our home in Colorado went under contract, but shortly after, the buyers pulled out. We then reduced the price of our home and went under contract once again. Because we spent most of our savings on our home renovations in Colorado, the purchase of our new home here in Florida was contingent on the sale of our house in Colorado. We found the perfect house for our family and have been so excited to move in once our colorado home closed. While trying to sell our house in Colorado, we have been staying in an Airbnb, which can be pretty costly long term (roughly $3000 a month). We have had to stay in our airbnb for over 2 months while waiting for our house to sell. We were just 1 day away from closing on both homes and….the buyers for our home in colorado backed out. Now after spending a chunk of ours savings on home renovations, paying the moving company, and paying for the airbnb, we are completely out of money. Our accounts are negative and we are in major credit card debt. We now have no idea what our next steps are or what we are going to do. We have 1 day to come up with money for a down payment or we lose our new home. We also have to be out of our airbnb by Monday 11/13. We can no longer afford to temporarily rent a place. We cannot even afford to put food in our fridge. If you cannot afford to donate, we completely understand. We would appreciate any prayers that we can get. Thank you all and god bless.
