Petey Has Parvo

Petey is in critical condition at the ER and we need your help to save him. He was left at the shelter on Tuesday and it was clear he was incredibly sick. His back legs were wobbling and he wasn't able to keep anything down. His Parvo test came back positive and he needed rescue ASAP. We've had an overwhelming two months of medical bills and tough losses but we knew he needed help in order to have a chance at survival. That same day, we had him transferred right away to our primary care vet where he has been receiving medical care and monitoring. Unfortunately, his symptoms have not subsided and now he is in need of a plasma transfusion. Since the vet closes for the weekend, he had to be transferred to the animal hospital for the remainder of his care. We already spent $1,500 on his care and with this new procedure, our estimate from Blue Pearl is $4,700. Although this is a daunting number, we can't give up on him now. If you can contribute to Petey's medical fund, we'd be so appreciative. Even if it's $5, every little bit helps so that we can not only save Petey - but keep our doors open to other dogs in need as our shelters have been overcrowded and in desperate need.
