Pettibone Family
Donation protected
Many of you know the Pettibone family. They've been involved in so many things in Oshkosh, you're bound to have seen them. Karen teaches for Lourdes Academy and at least one of their four boys have been attending there over the past 15 years. They've been raising their family, supporting youth athletics, driving a school bus and leading little ones to Jesus. They laugh and yell and cheer and sing. Rarely do you see Russ or Karen WITHOUT a smile! They exemplify kindness. Need some help? Call the Pettibones!
Now, however, they need OUR help. Last fall, Russ was diagnosed with Stage 3 metastatic melanoma. He has undergone 3 different types of treatment. The cancer has spread to his abdomen, lymph nodes and liver. Russ and Karen have spent a lot of time in doctors' offices and the hospital. They've had their share of tears. But their faith remains.
Because Russ has been unable to work, they've been missing an income. There are all sorts of medical expenses. And four growing boys...well, they still have to eat!
Are you interested in helping? Great! We know they would be so grateful for your support in a number of ways:
1) Prayer! Please include the Pettibones in your prayer. We truly believe it can and does work!
2) Financially. Can you donate to this fund to help offset some of the expenses that have come their way?
3) Meals. Again, 4 boys (and 2 adults) do eat. There is a meal train organized. If you'd like to be part of that, please contact Sara or Rhonda via this site.
We hope you will prayerfully consider helping Russ and Karen at this time that they truly do need us!
