We are coming up on his one year anniversary and have decided to keep this fund open. We are ramping up for the cold season as it seems that is when families need help the most. I also set up a PO Box for him to receive birthday cards since this is how it all started. If you want to send a card they can be sent to

Peyton's Pantry is something that was created by my son Peyton. Due to covid he was unable to have the birthday party he really wanted with all of his friends. He loves getting mail so I posted for people to send him birthday cards to cheer him up. Unexpectedly some of those cards had money in them. I asked him what he wanted to do with the money and without hesitation he said he wanted to help people. We sat down and he told me how he would like to do it and that is how Peyton's Pantry was born. I own a laundromat so I let him set up some shelves to put non-perishable items for people to take if they are in need. He is already helping many people and he wants to keep his shelves stocked. He is 10 so his only means of doing so is through donations or doing chores at home. This is something he wants to keep doing for a long time so we are encouraging people to donate food to the pantry or to donate here so he can continue his journey. He says he wants to expand his vision someday and go bigger to help people but for now he is happy knowing that people can have something to eat with his help. He appreciates all of the support and love he has gotten already, but he said the best thing about this whole thing is how it makes him feel.
