Turkey Earthquake Relief

Hello, my name is Derya Tokdemir and this fundraiser is to help the people who were just struck by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake in southeastern Turkey on Monday, February 6th, 2023. As of right now, the confirmed deaths are a staggering 41,000 people, with thousands more injured and homeless.

My whole family is from Adiyaman which is one of the most affected cities by the earthquake. Some of our extended family members and family friends have lost their lives and almost all in my family and extended family lost their homes.

Donations will be used for people of Adiyaman for: temporary sheltering for people who have lost their homes; rebuilding the areas affected; creating funeral services for so many who lost their lives due to the earthquake; clothing, books and toys for the children.
