Help Pfeiffer University PA Program beat COVID-19!

Dear surrounding communities,
There is much uncertainty at this time and many parts of our nation are being severely impacted by COVID-19. From small businesses to front-line health care professionals there is a lack of personal protective equipment. Physicians, PAs, NPs, Nurses, RTs, CNAs, CMAs, PTs, OTs and many more are running out of essential equipment in order to protect themselves. They are serving their community during this crisis, so this is our chance to repay them by supplying to their need.
Proper face shields are crucial to ensure the front-line health care professionals do not acquire this virus while providing care to their patient’s. As a new Physician Assistant program at Pfeiffer University, we are aware of the uncertainty and understand how serious this virus can be. With that in mind, we have teamed up with Kathy's Customs, who is producing face shields in order to serve our community in this time of need. Mr. Wycoff is a Master Project-Based Learning Instructor at Olympic High School in the Academy of Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing Department. He has created and built 100 Face Shields based on his prototype and is eager to create more to support the local Healthcare Industry and Community.
We are asking for donations in order to help Mr. and Mrs. Wycoff produce additional face shields and provide them to the healthcare individuals on the front lines, who are risking everything in order to save our community members. Each mask requires $10.00 worth of material, however any and all monetary donations are greatly appreciated!
Our goal is to fundraise $1,000.00 to create 100 face shields and they will be distributed throughout North Carolina.
Below are the non-profit clinics that depend solely on donations and contributions, and these are just a few of the locations that will receive face shields created from your generous donations.

Lake Norman Community Clinic in Huntersville
Shelter Health Services in Charlotte
