Trigeminal Neuralgia is nicknamed "the suicide disease" because 26% of people diagnosed with it take their own lives due to extreme pain that top medical sources describe as “the most painful condition that exists.”
As if TN wasn't enough to endure, Brian has also been living with Type 1 Diabetes for 21 years after his pancreas suddenly stopped producing insulin as a 12 year old.
Because of his 2 pre-existing medical conditions, they are struggling to find an insurance company willing to cover costs to see the doctors he needs, as well as receive the surgery to reduce his daily pain.
Since Trigeminal Neuralgia is not a "curable" condition, Brian will need to receive these types of treatments and surgeries for the rest of his lifetime.
