Help To End Period Poverty
Donation protected
My name is Amber, and I am a student at Holme Grange School in Wokingham. I am fundraising money to buy ruby menstrual cups for girls at Our Lady of Nazareth School in Nairobi, Kenya. Unfortunately, 1 million girls in Kenya miss out on school during their periods, as affordable sanitary and hygiene products are minimal. While these girls are menstruating, they are forced to remain in their homes, with some even banished to isolated shacks. However, with your donations, we can help to change this. Ruby cups are a reusable, eco-friendly alternative to this problem, with one cup lasting up to 10 years. This allows girls to stay in the classroom without worrying about leaks or environmental waste. Not only this, but ruby cups are sport riendly and very easy to use, making them accessible to all. I will be travelling to Nairobi with my school in June and I hope to bring 100 ruby cups with me. If you leave a donation, you are helping provide a better future for many young girls in Kenya, so please, help us to end period poverty. Thank you, Amber.
