Woodley Park Archers Short Range Reconstruction

I am the President, member of the Board of Directors and Coach of Woodley Park Archers, an archery club based at the Woodley Park Archery Range located in Woodley Park in Van Nuys, California. Our club, Woodley Park Archers is the permit holder for the archery range and supervises it's operation, programming and maintenance for the Department of Recreation and Parks.

On March 17, 2020 around midnight, our short range bale wall structure burned to the ground. Our Woodley Park Archery Range is one of the very few all volunteer maintained and supported, free public archery ranges in the country. Since 1984, our club has introduced thousands and thousands of students to the sport of archery through our Woodley Park Archers Introductory Archery Program we run for the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. On a weekly basis, hundreds of members of the community enjoy shooting archery for free at our public archery range.
