Recovery Fund for clothes for Beth Massey
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Eli Gallegos (pictured above with black and caramel hair) and I am a comrade/close friend of Beth Massey. (pictured above with white hair) I am helping crowdfund money for her due to a recent incident that has left her with almost no clothes. Beth is elderly and disabled. She struggles to both clean her home and do laundry. Through her neighbors she met someone who was willing to do things for her. She helped Beth last year as she prepared for cervical surgery and during her recovery. Two days ago, Beth loaded a cart with most of her outer clothing, including slacks, jeans, and tops for this woman to wash in her building’s laundry room. Since then, Beth has neither seen nor heard back from this person. Beth and her neighbor investigated the laundry room, including the lost and found, but did not find her cart and clothes abandoned. They have been attempting to find out what happened to the woman, but have been unsuccessful. She is well known to Beth’s neighbor, and he is also unsure what might have happened. He did say that she can be unpredictable at times and could be having a crisis. But at this point, since the clothes and this person have disappeared it has left Beth with almost nothing to wear. It is why we have created this gofundme for emergency assistance in acquiring more clothes. Beth is 76, retired, and was forced to file bankruptcy due to healthcare debt accumulated during her husband’s twelve-year illness prior to his passing. She has no credit, and her fixed income (pension and social security) is needed to pay her mortgage, utilities, bankruptcy court mandated payment, and food. So, if you could please donate anything you can and share this gofundme. It will be of great help to Beth in this moment of need. Thank you very much!
