What: a tragedy, the untimely death of Pha Yang

Where: Phon Kham Nuea, Laos

On 01/08/2022, while helping a stranger push his vehicle out of traffic, Pha Yang was struck and ran over by semi truck. He died at the scene. He is survived by his wife, Chia (Ntshiab) Thao, and two young children--ages 2 and 1.

Pha was born on 04/13/1987 in Nam Xay village, Xieng Khoung Province, Laos. His father is Nom Ko Yang (deceased 1993), mother is Xue Vang (living, Laos). He has 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, finding creative ways to provide for them, and wearing his sandals on his day off.
