Help My Family to survive in Gaza

Dear friends,

My name is Saleh Nihad Arafat. I’ve started this fundraiser for my family of 80 including my parents, my siblings, and our children. We are all currently in Gaza. As many of you know, the condition in Gaza is a nightmare. In these last months, our homes and businesses have all been destroyed by the unending bombings forcing all of us to move to Rafah in the south of Gaza.

The situation in Rafah is extremely difficult for food and daily necessities. Our family condition is unfortunate and we are now forced to relocate once again as our current shelter is no longer safe.

I am asking for your assistance in obtaining tents for my large family. Because of the scarcity of tents, the cost of tents in Rafah are thousands of dollars each and we have many in our family including young children who need a place to live.

We also need assistance with other daily living requirements such as food and water.

Lastly, many members of our family require medical treatment. In particular, my mother requires immediate medical attention and travel to Egypt for healthcare and so we need help covering expenses for her travel, departure fees, and healthcare when she arrives.
