Phelps Falcons Uniform Fundraiser

The Phelps Falcons Boys Basketball team is comprised of 3rd grade boys from the most low income and urban areas of Minneapolis. The boys on this team are beating the odds stacked against them, both on and off the court. During the basketball season, players participate in after school study hall facilitated by the coach (and support staff) which has lead each of them to being on the A honor roll. Due to their hard work and dedication, the Falcons were undefeated throughout the regular season. Because all of the players on this team come from low income families most extracurricular activities are unattainable due to financial barriers. As we gear up for the Spring AAU basketball season, we have found that our team uniforms are not only getting worn out due to the long season the uniforms have endured, but also do not fit as well because many of the team members are growing sporadically at this time in their childhood . The Phelps Falcons ask for generous donations of any amount to achieve our goal of new uniforms for the AAU season. When the Falcons are comfortable in their game uniforms, they will be able to focus on the game and play to their best abilities. Your support is greatly appreciated.  Any additional funds go directly into the program to help more kids.
