The  Phenom Cares team in India recently conducted a drive by collecting donations to give to the Saraswathi Vidhyalayam which is a local boys school hostel in Suryapet, a town located around 150 kms from Hyderabad.  
The school is 40+ years old and started by 15 localities, who pledged to donate a certain amount of money every year. The main motto of the school is to provide quality education to poor children, who can't afford joining a private institution.  Over the years many of the donors dropped out of the donation process, due to various reasons.  This left the school in a severe cash crunch.  The only financial support they receive is from a few donors and graduates of the school.
They need more help.  Due to the lack of funds the teachers take minimal salary.  The teachers only get paid once every  2-3 months. The children are not getting proper protein and food. The school is planning to expand to 50 students, but are not able to do so.

 We are asking you to donate to this cause! Your donations will support the following causes for the children of the school.

 Monthly groceries

They still sleep on the floor. - Provide mattresses, and beds, if possible

It's a pretty old building -  Cleaning supplies,  paint and supplies

 Trees and plants -  to  make the school beautiful.
