Phenomenon Step Team First Step Competition

Phenomenon Step Team is the only non-Greek step team on Cornell University's campus. Our purpose is to diffuse the culture of South African Gumboot dance in an American context through stepping performances.

Phenom has been accepted to its very first national collegiate step competition. On April 22nd we will compete at the famous Apollo Theater against other college step teams at the 2023 NCPA Step Dance Championships. We are looking to raise money to secure our attendance at the competition. We will use the funds we raise to book a hotel, for transportation, and for food.
