Phi Delta Theta - Mom's Day

The Indiana Theta chapter of Phi Delta Theta hosts its yearly Mom's Day Celebration and Auction every spring. Due to the Corona virus outbreak, Mitch Daniels moved all education to an online setting and all university-sponsored events (including those hosted by registered student organizations) are suspended until May 2nd. Sadly, we were forced to cancel this year's Mom’s day to remain compliant with the university and to protect the safety of our brother's.

We rely heavily on the generosity of Phi Delta Theta families with this fundraiser. From the auction and mom's club dues ($25), we typically raise between $4,000 to $5,000 every year which we use for various house improvements. In the past, proceeds from the event have allowed us to purchase a new propane grill, an electrical generator, furniture for the main foyer, and a conference table and chairs for the study room. All of the money raised at this event goes directly into improving the house your sons live in. 

We're extremely disappointed to have canceled Mom's day this year, but we're surprised to have received an extreme amount of support and willingness to donate from families. GoFundMe is a way for us to still raise funds, while staying compliant with Purdue's rules.
