A message from the farm mom herself about progress ! It’s been about 10 days from his incident! Better than yesterday not as good as tomorrow! Let’s keep the helping hands going!
He was moved to Miller Dwan for therapy on Monday. As of yesterday he actually had color back in his cheeks and looked much better. He is feeling stronger and in good spirits and determined with his therapy.
Still needs a lot of pain management with all the broken bones. The staff there will be evaluating later today to try to determine how long he needs to stay but they were all very pleased and amazed with how he is doing.
Helllllo prayer worriers. It’s our time to shine. Aitkin family lifetime farmer Phil Chute was hurt badly this week in a farming related accident. With Alania in college and Owen concentrating on keeping the farm upright and being a senior in high school this family needs all of our help. The transport to a rehab facility 2 hours from home crushes the hopes of any daily advice to neighbors and kids as they work to operate their farm which is their financial well being . News that the doctors say a year of recovery has led me , a local Aitkin farmer to know they are gonna need help. A benefit is in planning stages but transportation and motel bills will be adding up quickly for Colleen to be there for her husband !Please consider being part of the helpful village in their lives ! They won’t forget your generosity if it be .50 or a dollar .
